Project pony. Lucky, little Dales x, approx . Just turned 7. He's been with me for a year - I've got to know him as a sweetie, always comes to call, good on the ground, lead/lunge, good with others in the field/farrier etc. I got him last summer and he has bucked with me. So I've lost my nerve a bit. I think he needs to be restarted and I don't have the experience to do so. He's been turned out for the winter and I've just started to lunge him again etc. Want him to go to a good home, or as a companion. He might be good to drive. Please call for more info. Read More

Project Dales x Fell mare 8 years excel on roads not spooky

I have come to the hard decision of selling my loving mare due to loosing confidence. She is lovely to handle from the ground in all ways and lives in or out great with farrier etc Unfortunately over the past few months she has developed a bad habit of bucking when asked for a canter. She does not do this in a walk or trot but since the last few bucks have been enough to have me off I have got to the point where I don't want to keep trying and risk injury to myself or completely loose my confidence which what I feel is happening while I have her. She has been used for a happy hacker while Iv had her (just over a year) and is great with roads / lorries / machinery and not at all the spooky type. She doesn't bolt off or want to zoom off with her rider at any point on a hack but Iv got to the point where I dare not ask for a canter for fear of her bucking. She is otherwise a good girl but needs a more confident rider to tell her off rather than be afraid of her when she does a buck. It might be something that can be solved with reschooling!?!?!?! 2 years colt dales pony x in Doncaster

5* home wanted for my dales x currently standing 12.2hh. He's black with white socks and white blaze. Hes 2 years old to make hh. Very sweet natured, easy to do, lives out all year round, great in traffic, handled by my 6 year old daughter, has been mouthed will stand all day with a bridle on. Lovely little fella but moving house and struggling to find grazing for him. Brilliant with farrier, wormed to date. I have some rugs that can go with him although he enjoys life best without a rug. Lovely 12.1 project pony for sale. Blue and white cob X. Lightly backed and schooled but needs further education to bring out his full potential. Bought for my daughter but he can be a little too strong on the ground never nasty but would be suited to a more confident handler a firm but fair hand. He has an amazing thick long mane and feathers although he doesn't like having his feet touched a bit of time and patience and I'm sure he will be fine as he now let's me stroke them! I have for sale a 12.2 hh pony that is definitely in the wrong home with me as we are only novices and due to being not told the truth about her is having to be rehomed, she is 4 years old and is very mareish, she needs to go to an experienced home were someone can start from scratch with her, she doesn't like her space being invaded and is very quick to spin and try and kick, my daughter has been on lead reign an have no problems with that and I have been in the school with her to try and forward her but going from trot to anything else does like a little buck, off lead reign is a little green but then she is only 4, you can not pick her feet up but my farrier has been so good and has been trimming her feet, it takes a while till she bonds with you and will only tend to get close to 1 or 2 people I have got to the point were I can brush her all over but have to be careful with her back end, I'm very honest as I want her to have the best outcome in life and for my daughter she wants a pony she can cuddle and love and this mare does not like a lot of fuss, once tacked up is happier and calmer and wants to be on the go don't hesitate to ask any questions but she must go to an experienced home only

Bargain 13.1 pony - fun teenagers pony or summer SJ project

Smart, intelligent and friendly pony. Native/New Forest type (I was told Welsh cross, but no breeding known, she has a basic passport). A stocky 'big' 13.1hh (measures just over) easily takes a small adult or teenager. She can be strong and is naturally forward thinking and responsive, so absolutely not for a novice but a talented pony in the right hands. Good paces, flatwork isn't really her thing! But get her on side and she's a real trier, started learning leg yield recently. Loves to jump, she is fast, scopey and bold but as yet unproven competitively, she is low mileage and mostly been an adults hacking pony (on and off road) or a companion. She really is a smart pony with plenty of potential for a confident and competent rider to bring on. She'd love now to find someone more her size and who likes the same things she does to progress her jumping - maybe an ideal summer project for an experienced teenager. She is up to date with farrier (unshod with excellent feet) worming, physio and teeth. Just had vaccinations started. No known health issues, she is a good doer and prefers to live out but will stable with company, good with electric fencing, a bit of a bully around food but otherwise quiet in the field. Good to handle apart from sometimes being strong to lead, and she seems to be terrified of being sprayed with fly spray!! Genuine reason for sale. Price is negotiable, looking for an experienced and ideally longish term home for this lovely girl, though she would also be a nice summer project. 13hh stunning show pony / project riding pony

An exceptional 13hh show pony for sale due to lack of interest from my daughter chatty is a cracking pony I had her broken early this year and my daughter has rode her also started off lead rein and was fab. She is a show pony so can be a little sharp but with the right competent rider she would really excel in the show ring. But for the last two months has not been ridden since so will be sold from the field. I do have videos of her being ridden. She is fantastic with floor manners and is good as gold to be brushed by children. I had her teeth done 3 months ago and was fab for him and is brilliant with the farrier.
