primitive antique chair possibly ottoman

  Primitive Antique Chair, Possibly Ottoman,

 Offered for sale is a very unusual, low chair, from Africa, or perhaps the Near East. It is all hand carved and hand assembled and the weave is done in animal hide so I suppose if you must replace the seat [I’d leave it as is and actually hang it from a loft wall] you’d use some sort of similar rush or material for caning chairs. I do not recognize the wood. It measures 29” x 17” x 17” and has no repairs or refinishing. It weighs a good 15 to 20 lbs. and is not a light wood. It is all original. I’d date is to anytime in the 19th.c.

Antique reclining chair(possibly Morris chair)

Victorian possibly, Nursing Chair in great condition. Gold embossed fabric in excellent condition throughout. Possibly re-upholstered at some point in the past, but sympathetically done. Stuffing intact, and spring and under seat webbing still solid. Excellent condition overall, and not 100% sure if it's on original castors, but all are matching and in proper working order. 3 antique vases (one possibly Wemyss)
