She has competed successfully at local level prelim dressage. She is up to weight and has been ridden by adults. Ruby happily lives out but is currently stabled. 13.2hh Welsh Section C Mare

Reluctant sale of our wonderful 13.2hh registered welsh section C chestnut mare, 13 years old. Where do I start with this amazing pony?! She has done it all from pony club, showing, XC (which she loves), showjumping, hunting, fun rides...she was my daughters first pony and has done her job beautifully. Absolutely bombproof in the heaviest of traffic. Hacks out very happily alone and in company, never naps or spooks (she will stand happily next to a running combine harvester!). Isn't fussed by any farm animals including cows, loose dogs, chickens and sheep. Attended pony club camp this year with Heythrop Hunt and was a star. Has won every mountain and moorland class entered and is very flashy, always in the rosettes. She loves cross country and has flown around courses this year usually clear and loving every minute! She definitely has more to give in this sphere. Great to shoe, box, clip, in the stable and with the vet. Never needs sedation for anything. Has never bitten or kicked. She is however a very typical welsh and loves her food so we keep her restricted grazing in the summer. Never had laminitis. Happily lives in or out and with mares, geldings or alone. This is a very sad sale of a much loved pony, so she won't be going anywhere until we find the perfect home. While she was my daughters first pony and has been perfect for her, she can be strong sometimes but certainly not uncontrollable or nasty so I would recommend her as a second pony for a confident child, teen or small adult. I would like her to go to a home where she will be a family member and loved as much as we love her. Everyone who knows her loves her, she has many fans! Any vetting welcome. Very pretty palomino Welsh Section A mare Henrhyd Melanie (Mia), 11.2hh 8 year old lead rein pony who has potential to be first/show pony with a little schooling. We have owned Mia for the last two and a half years and she has been a brilliant lead rein pony for my daughter, who is now 6, but she has completely lost interest in riding Mia, hence for sale. Mia is a very sweet, friendly girl who loves to be groomed and enjoys being ridden. All last summer I rode out and led Mia to help keep her fit in between rides with my daughter. I also lead her out in hand and currently still do in between a handful of rides with my daughter either out hacking or in the paddock. Mia has been well behaved when my daughter has ridden her off the lead rein at walk doing cones etc. She has just had this years vaccination, is microchipped, has a Welsh Pony and Cob Society passport and is good with farrier. Mia will be sold with a Thorowgood Cub saddle and the rest of her tack, rugs (2 of which were new this winter) and all her other bits and bobs. Please no loans.
