Sensational monitors in very attractive pine effect covering, the faux grain even follows through from one cabinet to the next! As there are no pads currently attached to the units, they can be positioned in any configuration you wish. Lay them vertically or horizontally, depending upon space, brackets, or personal preference. I personally found them best laid horizontally, with the ports outermost in mirror image arrangement. You are free to experiment for the best sonic effect. The full range unit means there is no useless tweeter covering hardly any of the sonic spectrum, but this does not detract from the stunningly clear and transparent sound they give. They also employ bare wire accepting spring terminals to the rear, meaning you can use really esoteric wire if you so desire. Gratis: I am throwing in a couple of cable runs which have been tinned on the ends for easier fitting to your amp. However these marvellous monitors will actually accept 79 strand oxygen free if you are prepared to make the outlay. Grills included, but they sound more open and transparent with them off during playback. They are easily replaced to stop 'little fingers' pushing at the cone drivers. They will go to realistic sound pressure levels but please use common sense, if they start bottoming they have had enough, I am sure they will be loud enough before that happens. Applications would be as front satellites, rear surrounds or even main music if you have a mini system and are looking for attractive replacements for your current units. They would also be admirable as dual front speakers in a 7.1 system. Dimensions are:- H 180 x D 185 x W 132 depth greater with grills of course. Weight:- 1.5kg x 2 n.b. weight indicates quality of construction! The cost of delivery, packing & actual postage is clearly marked on this listing. Tannoy Reveal Active studio monitors (pair)

These are a bit scruffy, but still work perfectly, although one of them has an occasional low-level noise sound coming from the input, but it's only happened about three times in the 18 months that I've owned them. I imagine it's a dusty connector, and I'd spray it with switch lubricant if I knew that this wouldn't harm the input (I have no idea if it would or not) (suggestions welcome).
