Great Snare drum, just looking to sell as it also has gathered dust and was gigged twice. Lovely warm and responsive snare drum. Sapele is basically a substitute for mahogany so it has similar characteristics like nice low end. It arrived brand new to me with 2 of the clawed lug holders off, I rang up the company and they sent me two more and on the first song of the gig they snapped off again. Premier Snare Drum. 14"x 8". Birch Shell with Gloss Black Wrap. In very nice original condition. From my small collection of Premier drums. It was stripped down, cleaned and rebuilt when I bought it a few years ago. New heads were fitted at this time. The snare wires are in good condition. This drum dates from the 's. It has a stamp inside - . The Hoops are original and are very good. A little wear on the top as per last picture. These age hoops usually suffer and are replaced. The overall condition of the chrome fittings is very good. One of the snare height adjusting screws has a bigger head but works fine. I think I have used this drum once since rebuild.
