Practical alternative to a free standing air conditioning unit - cool air without the hose Naturally cooled fresh air and gentle breezes wherever you want them - either as a large fan, or supplemented by evaporative air cooling - just add water. How does it work? Fresh air is drawn into the unit by the large fan then the air is cooled as it passes through water soaked filter pads. The Mastercool is easy to site and is suitable for either home or office use. It also works with windows and doors open, unlike an air conditioning unit. Compared to an air conditioner, there is no "elephant's trunk" hose to vent externally. Also, no installation, just plug it in, pop in some water and you're ready to go. The body is made from a high quality polymer material, so it will not rust or corrode. If you use the evaporative feature, it reduces the air temperature by up to 30% and has an adjustable cooling control. The integral "stealth fan" has 3 speed settings to maximise air flow and minimise noise levels. Very low running costs,cheaper than running a lightbulb ( Watts depending on fan speed). The water cooler uses an Aspen wood fibre filter. It can cool areas up to 20 square metres. The Mastercool isn't small (80cm H x 53cm W x 25cm D) but it is quite light and can easily be moved around and even carried upstairs.
