Beautiful, flashy palomino, gelding 12hh, registered section A called Steephill Carruthers. Although only 5 years old, we have had 2 very successful showing seasons with him both in hand & ridden on the lead rein. He has won numerous classes and championships including Aberystwyth and Ceredigion County and Brecon County. Carl always holds his own even against the professionals. We do a range of classes from M & M, section A, palomino, coloured to straight lead rein. We have also had some fun with him winning show jumping and gymkhana. He is a brilliant athletic jumper, so would easily win working hunters too. We have never hunted or hacked him, simply because it doesn't interest us. I am not selling him as a FYFR, because of his age & the need for few more miles on the clock in my opinion, but he does go nicely off the LR & hops into canter on the correct leg, so would suit a competent child off the lead rein, who enjoys competing and winning. I have come to the hard decision to sell my sons pony as he is simply wasted with us. I bought him as a 3yr old in the hope he would be suitable for my son but he is simply too good for him and deserves a lot more from life. My son has ridden him on the roads and in the arena on the lead rein and the pony has never put a foot wrong even though my son is a total beginner. I've also had a 7yr old girl hack him out down the road in company off the lead rein with no problems what so ever he really is a sweetheart. Buddy has the added bonus of fantastic straight movement, we have also popped him over a small jump loose schooling and it's safe to say he will excel in any sphere. All he needs now is a small jockey that can bring him on as he is still green but with work will make a cracking pony. Centurion Arian (Blue) - Top Class 132cm, 9YO, Grey roan, British Riding Pony registered with the BSPS HOYS potential, been placed in every class entered, not phased out at shows and is a real head turner. Cusop Bloodlines and the movement to prove it with 3 flashy flowing paces and works in a beautiful outline. Snaffle mouthed at all times and is never strong, needs no working down before riding. Brilliant to hack in company, perfect in open spaces and great with traffic. Hasn't been out much on his own but has been good as gold the few times he has, has been hacked on his own around the yard with no issues in just his head collar and is regularly ridden when being turned out or brought in. Has a scopey, careful jump so could make a fabulous PC or SJ pony and works happily with other horses whether he knows them or not. Has recently completed an 8 mile charity ride and handy pony round with energy left to spare! The ride included water, XC steps, XC jumps and lots of canters and gallops and was excellent the whole way round. Wasn't worried by anything in the handy pony course either. Also has been XC schooling, jumping a variety of jumps including steps, ditches and water. At his two most recent shows we have tried our hand at mounted games, coming 1st both times and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Has been ridden by a variety of abilities including a complete novice, however would best suit an intermediate or experienced rider in a competitive home looking to go out and win! Great to trim, clip, box, load, catch e.t.c. and easy to do in all ways, is often mucked out whilst still in the stable! Currently barefoot with good solid hooves.
