I have a super safe pony for sale, would suit a small adult or child looking for some confidence, he does not buck, rear. He will happily pass pigs, cows, sheep and farm machinery and is used to loud noises like shooting or the farmers bird boomer. We purchased him as a confidence giver for our daughter when she was just 10, After a week or 2 of riding this pony she had gained her confidence back. He is more of a kick along and will only do what you want him to. My daughter is not a super confident rider but will happily hack him out without a worry. If you take him out in open spaces and into canter he will stop as soon as you want him to. We ride him in a gentle bit all of the time. Basil is a light/med weight 13.3h cob who we have owned for 3 years he has brought my daughter on and given her loads of confidence he is not a speedy pony he is a safe sane sensible boy. Fun pony – hack / sponsored rides / all-rounder

Lovely natured LW cob mare for sale, 13.3hh 5yo. Good to do in all ways. Safe and sensible but reasonably forward going, easy and fun ride for most riders but no nervous novices please! Loves to hack, good in traffic and in open spaces, regularly boxes out (loads and travels brilliantly) hacks from home alone or in small group – goes in front, middle or behind. Not strong or nappy, has never bucked, reared, bolted or spun etc. Occasionally has the odd ‘look’/minor spook (she is only 5!) but easily reassured with a pat. Been ridden by various ages and abilities from 12yo confident novice upwards. Fairly low mileage in the school, so not a schoolmistress (again, she is only 5!) but improving every time, very willing and honest attitude to work. Three good active paces, bold over trotting poles but has not yet jumped as not current rider’s forte! Starting to show nice outline in walk and trot, soft snaffle mouth and responsive to aids. Totally unspoilt with all basics ready to build on further – she would be an easy summer project for competent older child/teen, or a fun low maintenance hack to enjoy sponsored rides/pub hacks etc. Very very easy to handle on the ground (my not quite 4yo daughter can lead her to and from the field and groom her) She can be a bit reserved with new people but nothing a carrot and a gentle fuss doesn’t fix! We have sadly decided it is time to find this lovely pony a new family to help. He was bought to teach my nervous daughter the ropes, jumping ponyclub etc and has done such an amazing job that she is now on a 14.2hh and loving every minute..... he is 13.2hh 15 yr old Irish sports pony gelding. He is great and will happily trot around with a novice or if picked up will jump happily a course of cm....has the t shirt been and done all ponyclub activities with us and previous owner.
