Meet Treacle. We have been the proud owners of Treacle for 12 years, and he is now 23 years old. He has seen the children grow up, and has taught them all to ride. He came from a local riding school and was always the favourite pony that every child asked for. He has a fan club wherever he goes. FOr the past 2 years he has been a field ornament, and the time has come to move him on to another loving family where he can do all the things he did with us, and probably more. This is reflected in the price as he would need to be brought back into work. He has literally never been ill or sick in all the time we have had him. He is good with other horses and ponies, and nothing phases him (apart from chickens so I have discovered). He does prefer to ride out with other horses, although did used to ride alone with my son who was a confident rider. He is kept in Bookham, lives out (which he prefers) and is a very good doer. Eric is a fun loving pony who never puts a foot wrong. Although he is only 3, please do not be fooled by his age as he is a bomb proof little cob. I broke him in earlier this year and he is outstanding. He doesn't flinch at any kind of traffic, canal boats, any farm animal, trains, prams, bikes you name it! He will hack out alone or in company and is always the first one over in the field.
