One of the three transparent protective tissue papers is damaged bottom left.After his studies at the school of medicine Hendrik Wiegersma married Petronella DaniĂ«ls on 13 June . In the same year he settled in Deurne. An introduction to Moissey Kogan, Ossip Zadkine and Otto van Rees awakened the artistic talents of Wiegersma. Nowadays, he is considered the greatest artist from Deurne. In addition to his pursuits as an artist he achieved much as a doctor: the infant mortality rate in Deurne decreased considerably.In he already had his first major exhibition at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
