Feed your pelargoniums every fortnight.Dead-heading regularly helps prolong flowering. Equally happy in pots or borders, pelargoniums flower right through the summer, without regular watering. Lift the plants with care and pot them up and brought indoors for the winter before the frost, cutting the top growth back by one-third as you do so. Take care to water sparingly during the winter. If kept at 7-10C (F), plants may flower right through the winter inside your house. Otherwise cut back your plants, with care, by two-thirds and keep them almost dry until they begin to shoot in the spring, when watering can start again. You can take cuttings at that moment, too. When mature, blooms are roughly 5.1 cm (that's 1.99 inches in imperial) in diameter. The mature flowers take a single form, with an approximate petal count of 4. Pink evening primrose grows as an annual/perennial and is a non-edible flower / ornamental. Being an annual / perennial plant, it tends to grow either as a single season plant, or a plant that can stay in your garden for many years. Pink evening primrose normally grows to a mat-forming habit. Try planting Pink evening primrose if you'd like to attract bees to your garden. United States is believed to be where Pink evening primrose originates from. Pink evening primrose is great for inexperienced gardeners and those that like low maintainance gardens. Large satiny deep-pink flowers appear from early summer into the autumn, seeming to rest right on top of the leaves. Runner beans need a support to climb up. The traditional method is to grow them individually up inwardly sloping 2.4m (8ft) tall bamboo canes tied near their top to a horizontal cane. If you slope the bamboo canes so that they meet in the middle and tie them here so that the ends of the canes extend beyond the row you will find picking is easier and the yield is usually better. When growing in beds and borders a wigwam of canes takes up less room and helps produce an ornamental feature. Loosely tie the plants to their supports after planting; after that they will climb naturally. Remove the growing point once the plants reach the top of their support.
