Foffa Fixie/SS Bike — Azure, 55cm, Custom Wheelset

£ (or nearest offer) This Foffa Single Speed/Fixie bike has ridden less than 500 miles. Its steel frame and excellent wheelset provide a comfortable, cushioned ride, with smooth, responsive handling. I'm open to sensible offers on the price; take a look at the details below. The frame and forks are high-tensile steel, in a striking Azure blue colour. All of the frame holes were covered with electrical tape before the first ride to prevent moisture from corroding the tubes. The wheelset is a custom build I added myself, with Miche Primato flip-flop hubs and Weinmann DP18 rims, outfitted with Schwalbe Lugano Active 23mm tyres. This wheelset has drastically reduced the original weight of the bike, and was purchased for £200 new (minus the tyres). The front brake has been upgraded with brand new, unridden XLC shoes and pads, and I have fine-tuned the caliper's adjustment for maximum stopping power; the rear brake has been removed for simplicity's sake, and to reduce the bike's weight. The drivetrain features a brand new, unridden, and lubricated SRAM PC-1 1/8in chain. I have outfitted the rear hub with a barely used (less than 5 minutes riding) Miche 17t fixed sprocket on the drive side, and a Shimano 16t single speed freewheel on the left, for the option of freewheel riding. The crankset has a 48t chainring, and the cranks are 165mm. I have fitted brand new, unridden Widget Grip Wrap handlebar tape. The pedals are fitted with Restrap diagonal pedal straps, for greater control. Front and rear reflectors are included, and there is also a brand new, unused bell, to get you noticed. There are, as you would expect, some scuffs and marks on the frame; I can assure you these have not compromised its performance, and are cosmetic. The frame number is: LT. Both wheels are hand built with stainless steel spokes, rear hub is OnOne (fixed/fixed), front hub a reconditioned Deore DX. Both rims are Mavic CXP 23. Shimano cartridge bottom bracket, Tange Levin headset, Cinelli stem, Shimano 600 cranks with 42t chainring, 17t sprocket. The paint is scuffed in quite a few places and one of the toe clips is broken (I'm happy to replace it), but otherwise the bike is in very good mechanical order and has good components.
