Double Bed frame and solid pine head and footboard

Originally costing £ this bed frame with solid pine head and footboard is for sale as we are changing decor and furnishings. The bed is now disassembled into three pieces and placed in our garage for ease of collection. The frame can be further reduced in weight if necessary, by the removal of timber cross members, each secured with two screws. Please note it is the frame, headboard and footboard being offered for sale, there is no mattress, bedding or cushions included. There are a few marks on some of the wood which will need a light sandpapering to restore as new, but as you will see from my photographs, they do not significantly detract from the bed's overall attractive appearance. Re-assembly will be straightforward since we have retained all screws and jointing plates which securely interlock without difficulty. Very realistically priced for an early sale but a near offer will be seriously considered. Collection from our Colchester home can be agreed at any reasonable time given a couple of days notice and you are welcome to view entirely without obligation. Antique PINE sprung bed frame and bed head

This is for a single bed crying out for restoration. A quality item with wood and complete sprung frame and head board which detaches.Been in the family since the 60s so at least 50 + years old but i think it is a lot older. Would suit either professional restorers or chintz project. Inspection welcome before auction end. The dimensions are approx 16 and a half inches in height, 3 foot width and 6 foot long. There is a makers brand on the side but unfortunately it has been painted over. (see photo no 4) i cant make out any text but there is a picture of a tree. It seems the badge is metallic and nailed onto the wooden frame. The legs have had castor wheels added at some stage and these are in place now. There is an accompanying mattress and will throw this in with the highest bidder knowing how people are with second hand mattresses. This is one of a twin bed set and so you are bidding on one bed BUT will sell you the second bed for the winning price if you want the pair or alternatively will split and advertise second one separately Buyer collects cash preferred and item is in Lytham near to the crematorium.
