Antique Vintage Artists Easel Picture Stand Gilt Gilded Gold Wood Art Wedding Prop Display

Gorgeous and unusual vintage artist's easel picture display stand. Stand is solid wood which has been gilded giving a gold finish. The finish has worn naturally over time revealing a nice grey colour beneath. The stand does show obvious signs of previous use with paint splatters all over (mostly blue & black paint). There are also a couple of small chips showing a white finish beneath. I have tried to show this in the photos. There are 3 holes to either side of the front which would've originally been used to fix canvas to the stand. The stand is highly decorative with a leaf style carving to the top and chunky scroll legs. Back part can be pulled in or out to increase/decrease the height/depth. Stand folds flat for ease of storage & transport. Rare to find one in this size! Could be used for intended purpose but would also look stunning holding a piece of art or even as a wedding prop.
