Set of reproduction bagpipes based on a set of P Henderson Bagpipes (Blackwood). I bought these a couple of months ago and was amazed at the mellow steady drone sound which I gained. These pipes come with; - 2 month old bannatyne medium synthetic pipe bag. - the kilter co pipe case (good condition) - bagpipe cords. - water trap (Trap-Dry) Do not come with; - pipe bag cover - drone reeds (as each individual piper has their own preferences - if required i can send you a recording of them and advise which reeds I have used). - pipe chanter Reason for selling - no real need for them, already have a set of P Henderson Bagpipes. Early s African Blackwood Henderson bagpipes with Natural Mounts

For sale is a complete set of early s Henderson Bagpipes. The set come with the original Stamped Chanter and natural (I) sole and the Mounts are also natural (I) material. Chanters of this era were much flatter in tone than modern day chanters however an additional chanter can be supplied if you wish. The Pipes come with New Hybrid Gortex Bag and moisture trap, New Ezeedrone Moisture control reeds, new black zipper bag cover, and silver cords, I also have either a Hard bagpipe case or a RG Hardie soft case which has seen better days but serviceable. The Pipes are owned presently by Pipe Major Dixie Ingram whom has asked me to sell them, on his behalf. The Pipes are in excellent condition for their age and the mounts have no chips or cracks and the chanter has not been modified in any way. Henderson pipes are still regarded as the best pipes in the world due to their distinct sweet mellow sound and I am certain any buyer will not be disappointed with their purchase.
