My client owns a high-end property lettings company with properties in the Southampton area and is looking for a flexible individual or couple (with split duties) to help manager these properties. Main duties will include: - Getting to know current tenants so that when you show around prospective new tenants you can assure a 'good fit' of characters. - On boarding of tenants who decide to move in. - Dealing with any minor maintenance issues on site. - Weekly inspections to check that everything is in order/working as it should. - Monthly fire alarm testing and recording. - Weekly meter readings and recording. - Assistance with purchasing new furniture and decorations Supplementary duties may include: - Arranging for repairs with various contractors and ensuring work has been performed in a time-effective manner and to a good standard. - Supervising contractors. You should be able to work independently and possess excellent customer service and communication skills with an attention to detail. Experience in the property industry or some sales experience would be advantageous but not a prerequisite. The salary will be discussed with the right candidate but will be proportionate to the amount of rooms you will be managing, this means that as the company grows you can become more involved and your earning potential will increase. We anticipate that when on site, you would need to spend approximately two hours in situ.
