This is a lovely large trunk it has the original locks on the front but the hinges have been replaced, it has a few dings and knocks which you would expect from something over 100 years old but it very solid. It has the wheels on the bottom to make moving easier and has no woodworm or ever has had. Its 30"w x 19"D x 23"H and has been lined in period material.

Victorian dome top wood/brass bound travel trunk/chest, storage

This is a lovely old Victorian travel trunk. It has a dome or barrel shape top and is bound with wood and brass. The wood has a brown leather covering. The trunk is in good solid vintage condition and would make a great storage chest. The inside has the original striped paper lining, which is quite tatty and could be replaced. The lid needs an adjustment as it doesn't quite fit into the locks, although this doesn't stop it from closing. 2 castors are missing but, as the remaining 2 disappear into the base when on the floor it still stands on the level. it measures 60 cm wide by 48 cm high, and weighs 10 kilos.
