Peavey Valveking VK100 and accompanying cab for sale. Both in full working order. Really nice little amplifier. Minor damage to rear of cab - I've included a pic to detail this, but basically only just missing a plastic disc to hold the connection in place. Peavey Valveking VK100 head and 4x12 cab excellent condition all new valves

I am selling my Valveking VK100 head and 4x12 cab to fund my next valve amp build. The Peavey is in excellent condition and i have just serviced the amp and replaced all valves with new. This Valveking is modified for variable bias on the 4 6L6 power valves with ports to read the plate current on each valve in mV. In V1 there is a JJ 12ax7, in V2 there is a JJ Gold 12ax7 to warm up the feel and gain, in the phase inverter V3 there is a Sovtek long spiral filament 12ax7. All preamp valves are balanced to avoid cross over distortion and unwanted harshness. The power valves are a matched set of Ruby 6L6's and not the JJ's shown in the picture. I found the JJ's too cold and open in the Valveking so opted for the ruby's for a rounder sound. The bias is set at about 65% which gives a slightly warmer sound to the amp and a great feel when turned up. There is a footswitch included to switch between clean and gain channels. I am selling to fund my next valve amp build, but I may be interested in a part exchange with a Blackstar HT1R. All in all an amazing sounding amp, will cover all gengres and is 100W valve amp !!!!! Beautiful Peavey ValveKing Watt Guitar Amplifier in absolutely mint condition - almost as new! Originally cost over £500 with £££s spent since then! Open to sensible offers! It has spent its whole life in my house and has never really been past the bottom couple of volume settings on the dial! Every switch and dial works perfectly. Each time it has been used it has been powered on first, allowed to warm up and then used as normal. This allows the valves to prepare for use without the possibility of power surges. The vinyl is in perfect condition, the mesh is as new without rips or scrapes and the faceplate is unmarked. You will be buying what is essentially a brand new amp! Both the power and preamp valves have been replaced last year with high quality, uprated versions from JJ, Tung-Sol, Electro Harmonix and General Electrics at a cost of nearly £150! This has really given the set a new lease of life, providing a much richer tone with sparkly high notes and more rounded bass. The electrics have been fully checked over and the two speakers have been reseated. I honestly cannot emphasise this enough: this unit is almost like brand new! With all of that in mind I believe the price I am asking for is fair, although I am open to sensible offers. Peavey Guitar Valve Tube Head Amplifier Custom Flight Case Amp Marshall Mesa Orange

Peavey Guitar Head This head is in fantastic working condition. The amp comes with a custom flight case by Castle Cases. If you remove the top of the flight case, the head can stay in the bottom of the flight case with all cables fitting in the back. Makes it super easy when gigging. Please see photos. I had the head modified (by a professional amp maker) to a removable IEC/Kettle Lead, as I found the built in kettle lead frustrating and it wouldn't fit in the flight case with the plug trailing out of the back. The reason it is at an angle is this is the only way this can be fitted safely. There is the usual small wear and tear to the tolex around the amp, nothing serious at all. Currently the amp has the standard grill mod, so you see the tube glowing from the front. I can revert is to original very easily before collection/delivery. I personally thought it looked cooler without. I have the piece of wood featuring the Peavey logo which will be supplied to you either way. There is a picture of this in the photos. The amp also comes with a red trimmed dust cover (see last photo)! Delivery & Collection I am based in East London and can deliver this amp to London/Essex/Kent/Surrey for petrol cost - however please message beforehand to arrange.
