PRS SIGNATURE VINTAGE I can't believe I am selling this I bought this with an intention to keep this for life But personal bills have got in the way So here it is a PRS Signature with sweet switch and Gold Hardware Uber rare certainly in the UK thanks to cites and the exchange rate Some lacquer dings on the back edges as can be seen This is a 26 year guitar after all Collectors may want to hang out for a totally unmarked guitar which might eventually surface but you will be looking around £5K from what I have seen Top is of course just glorious and the sound typical for this golden era with the sweet switch for PRS is killer. Hand cut Birds are particularly colourful against the dark Brazillian fretboard..... Comes with original case I have the hang tag and other documents as seen in the photos. I've owned this gorgeous guitar since but for the last few years my gigs have seen me mainly playing my telecaster. Seems very rude to have this sat in it's case, not being gigged. - This is one of the Brazilian Rosewood era guitars originally with the Sweet Switch (currently has tone control with push/pull for sweet switch - changed by Sounds Great in about ). The late 80s PRSs are considered some of the best guitars that Paul has ever made. This guitar was made before the factory move to the new Maryland factory, in the Virginia Avenue factory and was initially carved out with dupli-carvers and jigs and then finished with a significant amount of hands on work. The build quality is second to none. The Scarlet Red finish has not faded and the flame on it is gorgeous. For sale is my PRS Custom 22 in a nice vintage Livingston Lemon Drop. The body and neck are one piece Mahogany. The body has a nicely figured maple top. The neck has a rosewood fingerboard with abalone and mother of pearl bird inlays. Pickups are HFS and Vintage neck. Phase III locking tuners and PRS tremolo. Comes with a original PRS luxury case, paperwork, hang tag and stickers. There are a couple of tools and a spare screw for the locking tuners. The condition is pristine with only a two teeny tiny dents in the finish. Custom 22 is in excellent near mint condition. It is finished in Livingston Lemondrop and has a nicely figured maple top. The body is one piece mahogany as is the set neck. Pattern thin neck with dark rosewood finger board with abalone and mother of pearl bird inlays. Phase III locking tuners and PRS vibrato tailpiece. The pickups are a PRS classic combination of HFS at the bridge and Vintage bass at the neck. Master volume and tone. The five way switching is as follows, bridge humbucking, bridge humbucking + neck tapped, both humbucking, both tapped and finally neck humbucking. Can deliver from vintage even jazzy tones through heavy blues and rock. It is in pristine condition with only two very small marks on the back of the headstock.
