1 Year old Patterdale Terrier requires a new loving home. Due to change of circumstances with work, I can no longer give my dog the exercise and attention he needs. He is a lovely dog with a lovely temperament around people, including children. He loves cuddles, and belly tickles. He is good with other dogs when off the lead but can be funny when on the lead with some dogs, mainly barking. He is not suited to sharing a home with other dogs and definitely not cats. A good new home is needed for our 4 year old Staff x Patterdale called Dodger. We will be moving and he is unable to come with us. Patterdale Terrier requires loving home

This is Alfie the Patterdale. He is a much loved family pet. House trained and fully up to date with vaccinations. He loves long walks, especially in the Lake District and local surrounding outdoors. He is a friendly dog and loves to play. Generally he is not let off the lead due to his inclination to explore but maybe with more attention and training this will be manageable. He is 7 years old and requires a loving home. We have to let him go due to a change in circumstances which doesn’t allow him the time and attention he deserves, he will be sadly missed but will make a fantastic contribution to his new home. He can be left inside during the day, doesn’t cry and is used to being on his own whilst we are at work. He has struggled with our baby due to the noises and unpredictable nature of toddlers but has always been fine with children who have visited. However due to this he would be more suited to a family with older children or a couple. This has been an extremely hard decision for us and we will only allow him to go to a loving home and therefore would be visiting his potential new home to check suitability. Patterdale terrier x for a loving forever home only.

Burtie is an ex rescue pup of 3 years old. All he wants to do all day long is be by your side or on your lap cuddled up- I have never known such an affectionate, loving and willing to please dog in my life! However due to his sadly abusive past he can be a bit skittish and nervous. With our love and patience he's come on leaps and bounds (we've had him for 2 years) but as our family is growing we believe an older person or couple or a grown-up family is what Burtie really needs to keep to the happy ever improving track he's on, preferably someone with terrier and or rescue experience, certainly dog experience. Burtie is rather unique for a patterdale in that he can be let off the lead and (in our experience) will actually come back! XD He also has an unusually low prey drive so is not suitable for rabbiting. He's fully house-trained and understands basic commands but needs continuous gentle reward based training to avoid slip ups. This is not a dog to be angrily shouted at especially by men! I'm hoping to find a loving forever home who will be happy to keep in contact, if only on social media, because this little guy is a real gem and I'd love to hear how he's doing from time to time. Looking for a good home for a 7-mo old Patterdale Terrier-mix dog. My wife took this dog in from another family that was moving away, but he turned out to be more than she could handle. He's a very energetic dog, and unfortunately wasn't trained as well we would hope when younger. He's mostly house-trained now and learns quickly when you work with him. But he has too much energy for our household. He has a hard time with other animals at first, but warms up eventually.
