PASSAP E Electronic Knitting Machine with 4-Col. Changer

A Passap E electronic two bed knitting machine with an "Auto Color" E-colour changer and U100E transfer carriage ("transfer lock") mounted on a Passap castor stand. There are 179 needles pitched at 5 mm on each bed. These machines are very popular and parts and advice are readily available. This machine does not have a motor drive. There is no original packaging apart from that for the U100E. The only standard parts missing are 2 out of 4 yarn holder cups and 2 yarn holder cup brackets, tube of oil, "special pen", 6 press studs for pattern sheets, pattern sleeve and blank pattern sheets. The two yarn guides (triangular guides at rear of tension masts) have been refurbished and there is a new spare. In addition to the standard set of parts there are 65 used needles (all straight and with free latches), 2 new extra pushers for the front bed and 2 for the back, 4 extra decker combs (2 x 20 needle, 2 x 24 needle), a pattern ruler and a spare colour changer eyelet, as shown in the photos. There is also an Empisal Knitmaster 7 needle adjustable decker comb which suits this machine. The original Passap instruction book and pattern book have been re-bound in punched pockets and folder. The original e600 manual is missing but a legible copy is included. There are several folders full of patterns for the E, some from Metbury Designs and some from magazines as shown.
