For sale is a lovely-shaped fine bone china cup and saucer from the "Holyrood" pattern made by Paragon. Each of the items have a very attractive burgundy- coloured border enclosing a ring of very small dots, small circles with a dot in the centre and three radial rings, inside that there is ringed pattern, (this pattern runs around the rim on the cup), the cup has a further ring around the foot. All of which is gilded. There is also a fine pattern of very shallow grooves radiating outwards from the inner lip of the rim of the saucer, whilst the cup has them running vertically around its circumference. The cup and saucer are both in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, there is some slight wear to the gilding around the rim on the cup, and there is a very slight mark evident, which I am sure is due more likely to handling, since they would appear to have had little or no use at all.
