Pretty Palomino Welsh A mare in North Walsham

Henrhyd Melanie (Mia) is 9 years old, 10 in April. We have owned her for 4 years and have used her as a lead rein. Very sweet little pony who is no trouble, hopefully the photos help show this. She will ride in company and out alone. I walk her in hand between odd rides. Although she is not in regular work at the moment, she is no trouble to just pop a rider on and head out. My daughter is no longer interested enough and so Mia is just wasted. She needs a new job to do. Mia was vaccinated on 31st January so is up to date. Worm count a few months ago was clear, wormed for tapeworm. She was last trimmed by the farrier on 24th February. She has a club saddle, bridle and all her other gear to go with her.

Sad sale of Lady, 15 years, grey mare, 12 hands. My daughter has sadly outgrown Lady and we are looking for a new small person to have fun with her. She is fantastic as a lead rein pony and good for a more confident first ridden. She is a good girl but a forward going ride and does expect her rider to be engaged with her rather than just a passenger, hence why she is such a good teacher! Lady loves to hack out alone or in company she is as good as gold. Great with traffic not bothered by anything in particular. Will jump or side step if she is surprised by something but she is never nasty or silly. Will go for miles and miles on roads or bridleways? or fields, always nosey and forward but always with good brakes when required! Lady has done pony club in the past, but not with us. She isn't so keen on being ridden round and round a school but will if rider is persistent. Once she knows you mean business she is fine, just the cheeky part of her character! Walk and trot are fine, cantering is achievable in the school but she has been known to sneak in a bit of a buck, nothing major, hasn't unseated my daughter, but think it is her saying this rider is too big now! Lady is quite happy to pop a round of small jumps and the odd log while out on a hack. She loves to be groomed and doesn't mind being bathed as long as you give her a moment to get used to the hose. Anything can be achieved if hay is involved! She is good for the farrier, currently unshod but does have shoes on fronts when doing more. Has had teeth done by the vet recently, wasn't keen at first but got over it. I would suggest a competent adult to handle for vet/teeth though. She has been clipped, again for this she would need an adult to handle her. We took her to a show last summer, daughter not long off the lead rein and this pony was a super star. Never seen a pony look after a child the way she did that day! She was her her prettiest most best behaved self and loved every moment! Loads to say about this girl, any more information please ask!
