These are much-loved vintage/antique dining or hall chairs in very good condition for their (uncertain) age. I have seen similar chairs described as Carolean, Gothic/French and Green Man but I cannot be certain of the correct term.They are obviously old but have no damage or significant scratches to spoil their appearance We have owned them since when we bought them in Germany and have enjoyed having them. We are only selling it as they will not fit in our home in the future. Collection only please from Macclesfield, Cheshire. You are welcome to view the items. These two matching high-backed chairs have carved work on the back of the chairs and barley twists on the legs and are upholstered in a tapestry muted floral fabric. I think they may be oak.
