Terracotta figurine from a Nativity scene - Naples, late

Antique Nativity scene figurine, depicting an unknown Saint wearing a long white dress and with coloured crystal eyes, which make them particularly shiny and expressive. Head and limbs are finely modelled in polychrome terracotta. Made by Neapolitan artists active between the late 18th and early 19th centuries, of rare craftsmanship. Extensive use of fine materials. Please note the hand embroidered dress with some minor tear from ageing, all original, please note the expression on his face. Large primitively cut carved wooden panel of Adam and Eve in paradise. They stand under the tree with the snake and Eve holds the apple. Polychrome painted with very clear residues of the paint. Time and religious usage made the colors fade away giving the statue a beautiful patina of age.
