I have a pair of handmade single mattresses made by Norris bedding in London, which have been stored in a barn, but covered and dry. On one the ticking has discoloured for some reason, but both are 'unstained' and in excellent condition, so I am loath to dump them as they were only used for about 18 months and always with a mattress protector.
