A Pair of Vintage Art Deco Cs Red Velvet Cinema Seats REF102 A quality pair of vintage Art Deco circa s red velvet cinema seats. The seats are formed with them having a curved mahogany back which is upholstered in red velvet. To the top of the back it has a wooden top rest. The bases are upholstered in the same red velvet and are deeply padded. To the base of the seat it has a polished wooden seat base. Each seat has a number fitted on, these can be chosen to what I have mostly between 1-45. The arm sections are made from cast iron which has been painted a while ago and has now worn and lightly chipped paint giving them some character and charm. To the top of the cast iron arm it has a padded and upholstered arm rest. The chairs date to the s and were removed from the Victoria Palace cinema theatre in London. The seats freestand fine, but can also be fixed to runners or screwed in place. We have a very large quantity of these chairs so can make, any amount and any length of seating needed. Size Height ” Width 45.5” Depth Seat Up 18.5” Depth Seat Down 26” Condition The condition of the seats are excellent, they have been recovered at some point, each has light ware to the material areas and arm rests. A Pair of Vintage Art Deco Cs Red Velvet Cinema Theatre Seats REF101 A Quality pair of vintage Art Deco circa red velvet cinema or theatre seats. The seats are formed with them having a curved dark Mahogany back which is upholstered and padded in a rich red velvet. The back of the seat has a central section also upholstered in the same red velvet. To the top of the back it has a polished wooden top rest. The bases of the seats are again upholstered and deeply padded in the same red velvet. The bottom of the seat has an oak base. The seats have a brass seat number attached onto them, which the buyer can choose to what I have available. The arm sections of the seat are made from cast iron, which has been painted gold at some point, which has now aged up giving a great look, and character to them. To the top of the arm it has a padded and upholstered arm rest. The seats date to around , and were removed from a cinema/theatre in Welwyn Garden City. The seats freestand fine, but can also be screwed to wooden runners or to the floor. We have a large quantity of these, so can make seats in rows of or whatever your after. We also have some of the original, decorative aisle end panels, which can be added to give even more charm to a set of chairs, these come at an extra cost.
