THIS BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE VICTORIAN CHIFFONIER HAS BEEN LOVINGLY HAND PAINTED IN AUTHENTICO CHALK PAINT. A STENCIL PATTERN HAS BEEN ADDED TO ENHANCE THE RECESSED DOOR PANELS. THE ORNATE CARVINGS HAVE BEEN HIGHLIGHTED AND THE WHOLE PIECE HAS BEEN WAXED FOR PROTECTION. The piece features attractive ornate fretwork, arched mirror back top, flanked by four small shelves with turned supports. The base offers ample storage space with a full length secret drawer. Twin door lockable cupboard with an inner middle shelf, painted interior and carvings. Stunning Solid Pine Sideboard/Dresser Painted in Farrow &

Please feel free to contact me for more information or any questions This unit is a solid Pine, handmade item constructed only from solid pine. The drawers are dovetail jointed and provide lots of useful storage along with the three door cupboard which also has a fixed shelf. The back of the unit and drawer bases are made of solid pine tongue & groove boards. The top is also solid pine, this has been sanded back and sealed with a clear varnish and finished with several coats of a wax varnish for a beautiful hard wearing finish and lovely soft sheen. The inside of the unit was also cleaned and protected with a wax varnish. All painted parts were cleaned, sanded and primed with 3 coats of shellac primer before being finished in 3 coats of Farrow & Ball Estate Eggshell in the colour of Shaded White No. 282. This is a very light shade that would complement most colour schemes. All parts were primed and painted using a HVLP spray unit to give a beautiful even finish. The knobs and hinges are original. Please note, this is not a new item and will have the odd dent or mark in the wood but this only adds to the character and charm of the piece. This really is a beautiful piece of furniture with a modern country feel, it would look in any room or hallway.
