Grazing and block build stable space available, have own part of the field so ideal for older horse. Poo picking must be done by yourself and 24/7 turn out as long as land is fine to do so ie winter time. Riding part sectioned in the field great hacking around darley park, main road to lane but drivers are used to lots of riders hacking out and quieter on a weekends. Livery help can be available if I'm around but mainly diy. No children on the yard at the minute. Local farmer for hay and straw but own is also fine, large barn for feed and hay and straw. I will supply electric fencing and posts but you will need a energiser and battery if your horse/ pony is an escape artist. Natural tree shelter in the field. No ménage no electric but feel free to put up solar lights or winter. Please note all horses need to be looked after and at least once a day checked fed and poo picked. Read More

DIY Stable and shared grazing for rent in wickersley

We have a 13x13 stable for rent, rubber matting, automatic water drinkers, hay rack. The yard is shavings only, these can be bought off the owner or you can bring your own in. There is a shared hay barn and a place for storage of feed bins and grooming kit. Mucking out implements and barrows are available for you to use on site no need to provide your own. We have a 9acre field which is used for roughly August to the weekend before bonfire night. The time we move out into it is when the hay has been taken off. Weekend before bonfire night until end of may they are stabled at night and out in the day in out 3.5acre field next to the stables. It is all year round turn out. They then live out from the end of may until they move out until the weekend before bonfire night, bringing in time in depth of winter are around 3.45pm and example in time is now we bring in around 6pm, turn out happens around 7.30am-8am week days and weekends is am. The owner can turn out for a small fee as they have to be there to turn there horses out and bring in there horses. You can use your own Dentist, Farrier, and vets but if you so wish you can join in on the visits which the owner has for their horses and if you wish for a fee the owner can deal with your horse for the visit.
