Der außerschulische Sport an der Grundschule P. - Eine Untersuchung der Schulwirklichkeit: Außerschulischer Sport ist ein Thema, welches für Lehrer, insbesondere für Sportlehrer von besonderem Interesse sein sollte. Er ist ein wichtiger Teil des Lebensumfeldes von Kindern und Jugendlichen und bietet ihnen Möglichkeiten, sich einerseits sportlich zu betätigen und andererseits soziale Kontakte und Fähigkeiten auf- beziehungsweise auszubauen. Lehrer sollten folglich wissen, welche Angebote es am Ort und in der Umgebung ihrer Schule für Kinder gibt und in welcher Weise diese von ihren Schülern genutzt werden. Weiterhin ist von Interesse, welche Faktoren die Teilnahme beeinflussen, beziehungsweise welche Auswirkungen eine solche auf die Kinder hat. Eine Analyse einiger grundlegender Beeinflussungsfaktoren und Auswirkungen von außerschulischem Sport wird in dieser Arbeit durchgeführt, wobei auch andere Arten der Freizeitgestaltung Aufwachsender einbezogen werden, damit ein Vergleich der einzelnen Formen möglich wird. Dazu wird zuerst der schulische mit dem außerschulischen Sport verglichen, danach der Schulsport, der Vereinssport sowie auch die institutionalisierten Kooperationen zwischen beiden grundlegend erläutert. Das Herzstück dieser Arbeit bildet eine empirische Untersuchung der gesamten Schülerschaft der dritten und vierten Klassen der Grundschule in Pattensen. Schließlich erfolgen Handlungsempfehlungen an die an der Thematik Beteiligten, welche sich aus dieser und anderen Arbeiten ableiten lassen. Im Anhang befindet sich der komplette Fragebogen, welcher als Basis der empirischen Untersuchung an 169 Schülern der dritten und vierten Klassen an der betreffenden Grundschule benutzt wurde.
