The fender with tiles is available too. The tiled area of the fireplace was approximately:- Vertical size:- width 97 cms X height 90 cms Hearth:- 120 cms X 52 cms The fender is approximately:- Length 137 cms X Depth 39 cms Tiled area of fender:- Height 9.5 cms X Width 8.5 cms Please do note that these sizes are approximate. I have a Victorian style marble mantlepiece with a beautiful cast iron fireplace. Bad news - the marble fireplace is broken in parts but can be mended. I think all the pieces are there but I keep finding new bits of it every day. Bad news - the Victorian fireplace has got some superficial rust on it so needs a good scrub and a tin of black plate and will be as good as before. The marble surround features a traditional design from the period, with attractive decorative corbels supporting a bevelled mantelpiece shelf. I have included a picture of what the mantlepiece and fireplace would have looked like originally and could look like again with a bit of tlc.
