Outwell Oakland XL 5 PERSON TENT PLUS FITTED CARPET AND FRONT SUN PORCH.

This is a tent that has been used but is still in good condition. There is some mildew on the storage pockets inside the tent but this does not effect the tent other than aesthetically. Also a clip as come away from the inner bedroom it works fine without but the clip is here and would be easy to sew back on. There is a fitted ground sheet and side door. The fitted carpet is in good clean condition, we always took shoes off so it is not worn. The front porch has been repaired, a strap sewn back on, it works fine. This height is achieved through Outwell’s Extended Frame (OEF) system which also offers strength and lightness. We like the ability to stand up in your own bedroom area, as this makes organising things / tidying up a lot easier on the old knees. The fabric of the tent is made from fire retardant material and the outer layer has a hydrostatic head of mm. Hydrostatic head is a guide to how waterproof the tent is. In the UK anything above mm is considered waterproof. However, the higher the number is the more it will withstand driving rain, an unfortunate common occurrence in the UK. There is obviously no point in stopping the water from getting in if the fabric stops the moisture from leaving the tent so Outwell have made the inner tent breathable which along with good ventilation between the outer and inner ensures that condensation build up is kept to a minimum. The Outwell Hartford XL tent is pitched flysheet first which has the benefit that the inner is kept dry should you be unlucky to pitch your tent in the rain....enough said... I have never had any leaks in the tent, and the time to put it up is about minutes. The key is to follow the instructions in the bag and peg out the back of the tent before trying to fit the poles. The tent itself weighs 20.9kg add to that the poles (11kg) and the overall weight comes to 31.9kg. I have extra poles that are included. The Outwell Hartford XL tent is ideal for family camping. £320 ONO Outwell Nebraska XL - 8 person tent in great used condition. This tent has been discontinued by Outwell, but still remains a highly rated tent on many camping websites for it's strength, durability and spaciousness! This tent has only been used a handful of times and comes with additional porch attachment,with porch groundsheet, perfect for longer trips (photos show tent without porch attachment) and genuine Nebraska XL carpet. Two of the poles have slight damage to the springs but this does not in any way affect the usability of the tent. Plus it is completely leakproof and held up to strong winds, due to the strong and reliable build of Outwell tents. We camped in it a few times with our 3 children and it has loads of extra space for stuff too! The build quality on this tent is second to none. The additional strips, layers, stitching, clips etc do make a difference and give a robust feel to the tent. It is as solid a tent as I have ever been in and has stood up to whatever the British weather has thrown at it with ease. Poly cotton really does keep heat in, it is noticeably warmer when you unzip and walk in from outside, and has ventilation options you would expect from an Outwell tent. The size of the windows ensure it is bright inside and the bright colouring is cheery even in wet weather. All in this is a great tent. You can check out the countless reviews online with virtually all rating it 10 out of 10 stars. We originally paid £ for it. There is a small tear in the room dividers mesh window and there is a very small hole (5mm) in the groundsheet. Although neither has ever been an issue. Due to the size and weight, I am not able to pitch for you to see, so I took it to a local camp site recently, and stayed overnight to ensure everything is okay. Outwell Colorado V five person tent. This is a large tent for car camping, definitely not a backpackers tent! The pics are from the internet but the tent is the same colour. We used this for 2 adults and 2 kids and it was more than big enough. Two separate sleeping areas and a large communal area for when the weather is less than ideal (plenty of room to cook inside and set up a table and chairs).
