This is a fantastic and much loved family tent. It uses Outwells smart air system and inflates in about 8 minutes (pump included). It has a very spacious living area that is big enough to comfortably accommodate a table and four chairs. The bedroom chamber can be separated in to 3 sections. We used one section for the four of us (2 adults and 2 kids on 2 double air beds) and kept the third section for the all important storage. It also has a porch area at the front which came in for both shelter from the rain and as a bit of shade in the sun - a perfect area for muddy boots and the treasures collected by the kids (i.e. sticks and rocks!). It has had about 6 outings over the past 18 months and has coped brilliantly with everything that the British weather has thrown at us. We have loved and looked after this tent and it is in excellent condition! The Hornet XL Footprint is included in the price. In terms of the technical details: The whole tent erects itself thanks to the stunning Outwell One-Go Inflation Technology that interlinks each upright via an apex tube which is also used to enhance rigidity. The beams are equipped with isolation valves to ensure the frame does not fully deflate in the unlikely event one is damaged and repairs are needed. Each tent is made from Outwells Outtex® Airtech Embossed Flysheet. Outwell Hartford XL dome tent (8 berth) with footprint

This has been an excellent family tent which has been used 7 times. We are selling as we are downsizing. The tent is in very good condition, no holes or tears and all the poles are in working order. The tent is single skin with a sewn in groundsheet, except for the front porch which has its own separate groundsheet. We are including a footprint which helps to protect the groundsheet from holes and tears and helps to keep it clean, especially in wet conditions. This is classed as an 8 berth tent so there has been plenty of room to sleep the 5 of us. There are 3 sleeping pods and one central area high enough to stand up in, even if you are over 6 feet. The sleeping pods are their own contained unit which are attached to the main tent. Each can be removed to create extra space depending on the number of people using the tent. Two of the pods are larger than the other one. The larger pods take a double airbed quite easily. If you want to use the back door as an entrance/exit then the smaller pod has to be removed. I can’t put the tent up at the moment to take pictures so I have included ones taken on camping trips, the latest being this month (August ). Some of the pictures include an Outwell polycotton tarp, this is NOT included in the sale. The Outwell Harrier L Tent sleeps five occupants in a 3+2-berth inner configuration. These inners have a zipped divider and so can be opened up into full a 5-berth inner, kept as a 3+2 inner or one section of the inner can be completely removed if not in use. The inners themselves are made a fully breathable polyester and feature a contemporary striped pattern front plus the new Wave-Shaped hanging system to prevent stress at the attachment points. Outside the bedrooms there’s a massive 3.0x3.5m living area that provides ample space for all your camping furniture and accessories. There's huge tinted panorama windows either side of the tent each with internal polycotton curtains. Tinted windows reduce the glare from the sun but also increase your privacy levels. There's a roll-up side entrance door with a mesh double door to increase air circulation but keep out insects. There's also additional mesh ventilation over each of the panorama windows. At the front of the tent is a large roll-to-the-side 'J' door and beyond that is a partially enclosed vestibule area. This area is 1.0m in depth, has a rain-save pole overhead and switch-back wall panels. This area is ideal for establishing your food preparation area. The tent is made with Outwell’s unique and luxurious Outtex Airtec polycotton in the Oil Green colourway which provides superior breathability over standard polyester. The tent is erected using Outwell 'One-Go' Inflation Technology - simply plug-in the double action hand pump (supplied) to any of the tube section valves and pump-up to the required pressure. The whole tent will erect itself from this one valve. All of the tubes in the Outwell Smart Air range are joined together via the central roof ridge pole. It's made from poly-cotton, which means it's warmer when cold outside and cooler when warm outside. It's also incredibly durable and will last the test of time, unlike nylon tents, which are renowned for leaking after a couple of years due to UV / seam degradation. The Outwell air system includes separate isolating valves, meaning that in the unlikely event of a leak, only part of the tent is impacted and can still be used.
