For sale is our Hartford large tent - only used a few times and in excellent condition. A fantastic large tent which is great for the family. Sale also includes electrical hook up cable, footprint mat for under the tent and electric cool box. Pictures are not of the actual tent as we have not had it up this year! Description from a camping website: The Outwell Hartford's are one of the few remaining large-scale dome tents remaining on the market and so continue to retain their popularity. These tent have been updated by Outwell for the season with the introduction of the Panoramic Front - a series of top-to-bottom windows that will give you fantastic views out and provide the tent with maximum daylight. All of the Panoramic Front windows have toggle up curtains and so you can control the amount of light and/or privacy that you require. The Outwell Hartford L sleeps up to 6 people in a 3+3 formation in 2 separate bedroom pods, both of which now enjoy full head height. The bedrooms can be removed if not being used. Between the two bedrooms is also a second doorway that gives you more entance/exit options especially as this doorway also features side flaps which will protect it from the worst of the elements. The bedrooms lead out into the main, open living space which features a sewn-in groundsheet and provides plenty of space for tables, chairs and storage units. You move seamlessly through to the Panoramic Front area (also with sewn-in groundsheet) which features a large roll-up/prop-out front panel doorway. The Duratec fibreglass poled frame of the tent is external which means that the tent is pitched flysheet first and the cross-over pole design makes the tent very stable whilst remaining easy and quick to erect. Other features of the tent include, breathable polyester inners with stowaway O-shaped mesh door, mesh pockets in the inners, Duratec fibreglass poles of and 12.7mm diameter, mud valance for the front porch, double-coated polyethylene groundsheets throughout (mm HH), Outtex flysheet (D polyester with mm hydrostatic head protection) double stitched with taped seams, nylon carry bags for canvas and poles, O-shaped stowaway inner tent doors, No-See-Um mesh vents, adjustable pegging points, light holder with light cable ties, internal pockets for storage, Outwell doormat, skylight windows, pre-attached luminous guylines with retainers, adjusting pegging points, Outwell Heavy Duty Zips, cable entry point, Outwell easy Pitch System (colour coded pegs for perfect pitching), Outwell Wind Stabiliser System (tabs connecting flysheet, pole and guyline to form a more stable tent structure). LARGE TENT - OUTWELL HARTFORD L Really great tent – loads of room for family holidays, pretty quick & easy to put up (did it myself once!). At £150 this could provide cheap, memorable, family holidays for years to come. With 2 large sleeping pods, each of which can hold 3 people in comfort, no-one should feel cramped. The large central area is high enough to stand in and provides a great eating area if outdoor conditions are less than ideal. There is also an entrance hall – great for leaving mucky/wet gear and storing cooking stuff. The tent has doors to the front and rear, so easy to sweep out. This tent has been used 3, maybe 4 times and never given any problems. Only selling because we’ve scaled down a bit and this has loads of life left in it. This tent has been used only 4 times and has been stored indoors. This tent is huge and perfect for a family, It's in really good condition, I'm only selling as my family no longer want to camp and at the age of 63yrs I don't think I will be going on my own! Used Large family tent - great for those family breaks away. 4 large sleeping pods comfortably sleeping 8 adults and really large living area. All poles, canvass, mallet and collection of pegs included. This tent has only been used twice. There is quite a bit of patching on the canvass and some rust due to storing in the shed. Also one small burn hole in the floor and a broken zip pull but the zip is fully operational. Some life in this tent yet and considering tents like this cost over £600 new, you can pick up a bargain! We now have a caravan so with a lump in my throat its time to let another family enjoy there holidays. Any other camping bits and bobs we find you get aswell.
