OUTWELL HARFORD XL FAMILY TENT

OUTWELL HARFORD XL 6-9 person tent. Owned from new. Comes with internal pods for the 3 separate bedroom and a "footprint" carpet fitted for the large communal area. Tent has been used for summer camping trips in Scotland and is more than able to cope with the mixed weather we get! It has always been been stored dry and has not been used last 2 years. It's a brilliant tent and has loads of space, can easily stand up inside, please check reviews online for full description etc. There are 2 small things to note. One is repair to ground sheet done with tape. Something ate a couple of small holes in the groundsheet while we were camped in aviemore. The repair does not affect the performance of the tent and it is still waterproof. You could also use a separate groundsheet or tarpaulin under to provide an extra layer between tent and ground (not included) Also one pole section has a small split. Outwell Harford L tent, 6 birth (2 bedroom pods), with footprint to keep underside of tent clean. Also comes with an Outwell fitted carpet, which really helps to keep the floor warm, and feels great. Complete with Outwell front extension, which is ideal to cook in and to eat under if it's raining. Had this gear for a few years, slight wear as you'd expect through use, but no damage to outer tent sheet (no leaks!). Outwell make fantastic tents, and this is certainly one of their best and most popular. An ideal set up for a family starting up camping. Although this says 6 berth, the 2 bedroom pods comfortably sleep 2 in each, but as the living area is large then you could sleep there also! This is a REAL family tent. It sleeps up to 10 people in up to 4 bedrooms. There are only usually 4 or 5 of us and a dog and we have plenty of room. It is in immaculate condition. It comes complete with an Outwell Maryland XL footprint to protect the ground sheet and there is another footprint too - to help ease out the lumps and bumps of the ground. For sale an Outwell Hartford XL 8 person tent. Excellent used condition The Outwell Hartford XL tent is a superb home from home tent. This cavernous 8 man tent is ideal for families who are looking for space, comfort and durability. Combine this the interior layout makes the Outwell Hartford XL tent perfect for family vacations. The Outwell Hartford XL consists one large dome area with three standing height bedrooms off it. This height is achieved through Outwell’s Extended Frame (OEF) system which also offers strength and lightness. It has the ability to stand up in your own bedroom area and this makes organising things / tidying up a lot easier on the old knees. The large dome area offers a huge space to eat, cook, wash up etc but if you feel this is not big enough then you may want to consider buying the Outwell Hartford XL front extension aswell. (I have a brand new one never used for extra cost). This extension turns the large Outwell into a huge tent, with numerous uses and really the more you can cover your options,so to speak, in respect of inside space the better. The fabric of the tent is made from fire retardant material and the outer layer has a hydrostatic head of mm. Hydrostatic head is a guide to how waterproof the tent is. In the UK anything above mm is considered waterproof. However, the higher the number is the more it will withstand driving rain, an unfortunate common occurrence in the UK. There is obviously no point in stopping the water from getting in if the fabric stops the moisture from leaving the tent so Outwell have made the inner tent breathable which along with good ventilation between the outer and inner ensures that condensation build up is kept to a minimum The Outwell Hartford XL tent is pitched flysheet first which has the benefit that the inner is kept dry should you be unlucky to pitch your tent in the rain. The groundsheet is sewn in and is made from double-coated polyethylene (optional extra) which is strong and durable but can be additionally protected by using the Harftford footprint. The footprint protects the ground sheet from scuffs from small stones and rough ground whilst also keeping it clean. The tent itself weighs 20.9kg add to that the poles (11kg) and the overall weight comes to 31.9kg. I have extra poles that are included. The Outwell Hartford XL tent is ideal for family camping.
