good item with a couple of minor drawbacks.
Works well, holds a large amount of seed. However replacing the lid after refilling is not as easy as it could be, particularly for someone with arthritus. Also the seed holding part was a little bit too reflective straight from the packaging, and the birds were not certain if they liked it, as it was catching the sunlight and sparkling. I etched it slightly by rubbing it with some sand paper, and now they use it happily.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Bird Feeder
I do like this bird feeder, but I found it very hard to take the top off to fill it. You have to turn it one way to open it, but I was very careful as being new it was very tight. As for keeping the seeds dry that fall in the little circle where the birds eat, there was no chance. The roof did not over hang enough. Why on earth the manufacturers don't make the roofs flatter and wider to keep the seeds and the birds dry I really don't know. Lovely little bird feeder
Bought this to prevent the birds dropping bits of seed on the lawn which was a problem as it was ruining it. Still get a few bits dropped but this little feeder is great & keeps most of the seed contained in the little tray. Not for my birds...
Looks good but the birds won't go near it! Difficult to get 'roof' back on after filling & invariably half of the seed pour whilst filling it! I bought it primarily to fill with nuts but it is not suitable for this. Certainly not for the birds in my garden!
