I know this pump was designed to use for water or oil only, however I used it to empty a 25 gal gas tank in my boat. Perhaps the gas will ruin the impeller, but it solved my problem. But with some luck, perhaps I can get another use out of it when I will change the oil in the engine in my boat too.
