Really great bike, thoroughly recommended
I haven't been on a bike in four decades and am 99.99% unfit, so I decided an electric bike would be the answer. It's heavier than I expected but that's down to my not properly reading the spec! I have only been out on it once as yet (too hot for a fatty like me) but it handles really well and once I got my balance back was very smooth to ride, with fabulously smooth gearing (first time on a geared bike too). Coming back is up a slight incline so I decided to get a run at it and switched on the power - goodness gracious me, what a kick that was! Absolutely fantastic assist, though you still need to keep pedalling, so there's no resting on your laurels. I aim to go out every other day while it's this hot, after the sun has moved round a bit so I am cycling in shade, but I know I am really going to enjoy this bike.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Excellent bike.
I have previously ridden only one raleigh E-Bike so don't have much to compare it with. That said this bike is faster, sturdier, lighter and about a grand cheaper. This bike is fabulous, a very fast and easy ride. I bought this for fun and it is. I can't recommend it enough. For the price. Unbeatable
My knees are shot. So staring at a 4 mile bike ride I was unsure. In the UK we have to have pedal assist only, meaning just that. Unless you are pedalling you get no assistance. However, after completing the 4 mile journey in less than 20 minutes and feeling like wanted to turn round and do it again. I have to say, the actual input needed was miniscule. I love this thing.
