A wonderful machine that's compact and powerful.
I was looking to replace my laptop with something different. My extensive research has led me to this. Using this MacBook is such a delight. You can really feel how all the parts of this machine were handpicked to work with each other. The body is made of aluminium which feels amazingly soft. The screen is the star of the show here. The high pixel density really immerses you in everything you view. Websites look like interactive paper. Movies and Photos are incredibly vivid and every detail just pops right at ya. The keyboard is a delight to type on for hours with a 7h or so battery life to compliment. Remarkable. The specs, although not so earth shattering in 2020(when i bought this), were some of the best when this MacBook was released and hold up to this very day. Everything is super responsive even running the latest MacOS. Admittedly, one of the reasons i got this was so that i would have a better experience Cloud Gaming. The 3x3 802.11ac 1300Mbps WiFi in this laptop makes it happen. The SSD makes loading a thing of the past. The processor never reaches 100% with my use and handles everything i throw at it while thermals stay very moderate. The fan practically never switches on. I really love the silence of this laptop. When it does switch on, it sounds and feels like a summer breeze. How about that. I bought this laptop over a month ago and i am still finding new things that amaze me. Even my Windows loving relatives had a spark in their eyes trying it out. Personally, i highly recommend this particular model for it’s affordability and reliability. I believe i will be using this MacBook confidently and delightedly for years to come.

Still a great laptop despite being 7 years old
Even though its 7 years old it still looks great and is very functional. I wanted an older model for the ports and keyboard. The aluminium casing means it won't fall apart or degrade over time. You don’t always need new….
This late 2013 MacBook is excellent for what I need. It has all the latest updates on it and the build quality is excellent. For what I need which is everyday computing and watching a few videos, I wouldn’t need anything else. It still runs and performs like a newer machine. Don’t waste your money buying anything too expensive when this is still better than some of the latest Windows 10 laptops out there.
