Small size makes it easy to use on the move and I use when running. You just clip it to your clothes or belt or put in your pocket. It is so light you don't notice it is there. It has a pedometer and I like using it on runs - it tells me every kilometre how far I have run - and I can listen to music or the FM radio while I run. At the end it tells me my pace and keeps a record of all my runs with the date, pace and distance so I can monitor my progress. I think the pedometer is reasonably accurate, and it pauses and automatically if you stop for a rest while running or walking. You can store photos, music and podcasts on it such as talking books and it syncs automatically with iTunes on my computer via a usb cable. 16GB allows me to store quite a lot of music. The charge lasts at least 6 hours and it charges up again quite quickly. You can charge it from your computer or from a mains charger. Downside for me is that the touch screen does not work well when my hands are sweaty from running. It also does not tell you your pace as you run. Apple certainly know how to make a quality product. I bought this as a stand alone MP3 player when I sold my old phone which I used as a music player. You pay premium prices but it is certainly worth it. With a little shopping around I found a brand new iPod at a reduced price which helped justify my purchase. The interface is smooth and easy for anyone to use. I have since bought a watch strap for it and it looks like the coolest watch. The sound is superb. My only criticism is that you are tied to iTunes to sync your music. That's a small gripe. Overall this is an excellent product.
Purchased to download all of my cd collection which it swallowed up with ease,77 albums so far,being the 16mb memory version I guess 100 albums is possible,also purchased an Aluminium watch strap housing which can now be worn on the wrist and looks great,you have 18 different watch faces to choose from which is great,the nano has lots of features and I would certainly recommend it,you can easily find one on ebay, 10/10

This iPod is amazing it has radio step counter watch etc the sound quality is excellent and the battery life good the case is really robust with a usefull clip for belt or clothes. I bought a new LCD and touch screen on eBay it was very easy to fit and the headphone problem was easily resolved. I would rate this really highly and would recommend it to other potential uses.

I think the Nano ipod 6th generation silver (16 gb) (latest model)is a great little gadget and I love it, I find it very easy to use, great sound and so convenient to carry around to be able to listen to music or radio where ever I may be. I would recommend it to anyone and remember that you are never too old to get new technology, I am 75 so get one and love it!
