Recommended! Great product! Worth the money
I really like the Bigfoot truck itself (brushless - which is ideal - and 2wd - meh)). I've seen comments about wondering if 4wd would be better. I did have an event where it got caught on some shrubbery, lol. It's very durable (the body is a flexible ABS or styrene plastic but the frame is very rigid) - aluminum. The RC unit works well, it's relatively fast (It's on my first Traxxas - and my first RC in a Looong while). Like everyone else, the battery pack system (Car/cigarette lighter system recharger) is junk. Just buy additional battery pack (and upgrade if you want). I couldn't get the car charger to work even while in the car (It kept going from flashing green to red).I ended up getting a wall charger that adapts to the car charger. I have the 8.4v 3000mAh (comes standard with this unit) but I see that people have upgrade to Lipo batteries. I haven't got there yet (you only need to push the button on the controller unit - found on truck - to use the Lipo batteries). This thing flies through my property (full 2 acres). I was surprised with the range. I ran it at half to full speed for almost 15 minutes. It truly is RTR (ready to run). I got a spare battery for the kid to play with it longer if need be. I like the additional options: different motors, shocks, gearing, batteries, etc. Also can get LED light kits for it and different body models that bolt directly on to it. I may get another one so the kid, mom and I can RC together. It's pretty good overall.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Battery and charger are almost useless
The truck overall is pretty good. I feel like it should have been a 4x4 because monster trucks are. Im a big kid, my nephew told me so lol. I loved big foot as a child so there you have it. If you can get the truck and remote from somewhere cheaper than i recommend doing that. The charger can only be used in a car style outlet. The battery is a NiCd its old technology. Get a 2s lipo battery with a trx plug and a charger from Amazon. I recommend the(THRC Duo mini) its a cheap versatile charger.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great RTR RC Truck!
This is a great Ready to Run (RTR) truck; I bought one for my son... Then, I bought one for me... Then I started adding all of the cool accessories available for all Traxxas devices. I really have had fun with my son and it provides great bonding time with your loved ones; son, daughter and umm yep wife. I have several spare variances of the Bigfoot shell that are readily available and also my son and I painted one and made it "ours" from the ground up. It is just a quality, durable, expandable platform that will provide much fun. Dream fulfilled
When I saw the original Bigfoot body on this Traxxas truck, I had to have it! As a young boy I fell in love with monster trucks. Ever since then I have wanted a radio controlled truck that looked like the original. It looks amazing, runs great, and is a lot of fun! I broke my KC light bar on a roll over already, but that's just rc fun! Love it! Would recommend it to anyone! Tons of fun for a great price...
Lots of entertainment. Great on the street and dirt. Not a lot of power in high grass. Have to get a battery charger for a 110 volt outlet as the one supplied is for a 12 volt socket in a vehicle an not always convenient. Worth buying
Just got back into the r.c. hobby and got my girlfriend involved. I knew what to expect initially but she had no idea. The whole r.c. world has changed since I was last involved in it. The looks of the Bigfoot blew me away when I opened the boxes. The chassis of them are light years from what I was used to. Already planning upgrades that while not needed for anytime are low dollar impact but high performance changes. Bigfoot 2wd. RC vehicle is a triple play, it hit it out of the ball park!
This Bigfoot is a great RC vehicle and it is not a toy. This truck handled my outside grass, dirt, steep hill side with one roll over (my mistake) with no damage and I am still on the beginner mode it is fast and I am still learning the hand control. What's not to like!?
What's not to like about turn key, low cost, ultra reliable entertainment?! This model Stampede / Bigfoot just needs the electronics, battery, motor and wheels from your donor car (that you hopefully already bashed into oblivion) and you are golden! No need to buy after market parts to make it "better", the stock Traxxas line of trucks and cars come ready to withstand a beating of epic proportion.
