Not the same as a Wacom Cintique, still pretty nice to draw on

I personally wanted a Surface Pro so I could draw on it. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed to find out that this surface pro does not support Paint Tool Sai- an art program used by a vast number of artist. It does work, but the pressure sensitivity does not work and that makes the drawing program useless. The drawing programs that do work (and are not limited to): FireAlpaca, Manga Studios, Photoshop and MediBang paint pro. The pen is quite nice, but it does have its cons. For example, sometimes you have to pair it again. Another inconvenience I've experienced is that whenever I flip it to the other end (the eraser end), it does erase- but if I change the brush size of the eraser, it changes the brush size of my brush that I am drawing with. The pen can't right click which is also pretty annoying since I have to actually use my mouse or trackpad just to swatch from the canvas I'm using. If you're a digital painter or just a fan of using multiple colors, it gets old really fast. Aside from the huge disappointment of being unable to use Paint Tool Sai, the Surface pro is something I'd recommend to anyone. It's a very nice computer. It charges fast, is portable, doesn't require a keyboard to type, is portable and lightweight. As for the keyboard, it's very nice to use. It's magnetic so there's no way you're gonna break it when you put it into the port it goes into. The charger is also magnetic. I have to say that the keyboard is pretty annoying when you're trying to draw on the screen but it's something you get used to. While handy when drawing, you don't really have to use or even buy the keyboard. The screen itself is nice to draw on and the stand is amazing. It doesn't even budge on more slippery surfaces. It bends very far and it's great for adjusting the screen to the angle you enjoy drawing in. The surface pro only has one USB, but if you want to plug in multiple things like a drawing tablet, mouse and phone charger you can get one of those USB ports with multiple ports on it that you plug into the computer itself. Regardless of all those inconveniences, I do love the Surface Pro. It's fun to use, the screen is smooth and nice to draw on, the keyboard sounds nice and it runs smoothly aside from one odd noise it makes when cooling down or running heavy programs. Thank you mom and dad for my new Surface Pro! I love it <3

kind of slow for its specs, but tolerable

Slow, but tolerable. PDF rendering is extremely frustrating. I think it's a software issue. Nice screen. Not ergonomic to use as a laptop with the MS type cover. I got a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, which makes the laptop experience much better.

  • SP4. My short take.

The is a product that will continue to evolve so as it stands it is not finished. Minuses are: still a bit too heavy (this will change), edges a too sharp, screen resolution is very fine, but it sure makes it hard to read the small print. Pluses: resolution and color are exquisite, size is portable, pen is excellent, built in support for supporting the tablet is multi positional and quite stable, although, landscape only. I have had no trouble with Win10 and am satisfied with it. While I have not had to deal with Microsoft they seem to be very attentive to their customers. I have used both Apple and MS products for over 30+ years and Microsoft seems to be taking a new approach for the good.

  • Microsoft surface pro 4

The laptop runs like its brand new. I couldn’t tell that it had been used at all except for one small scratch on the back of it. It got here super fast also. I was genuinely surprised that I found such a good deal. The bamboo pen that came with it kinda sucks because it doesn’t do everything the Microsoft pen does but it was also in perfect working order.

  • greasy

i love the versatility of this product! it can do office work and even some gaming! the only problem i have found is that it gets hot pretty easily and when it gets hot the screen gets periodically shaky... typically the only thing that causes it to get that hot though is gaming, and sometimes video editing, allowing it to rest and cool down so far seems to fix the shaking

  • As good as a laptop.

This tablet has so many features I haven't had time to try them all. Excellent graphics and great speed. I am really getting a lot of use. I reach for it more often than my laptop.

  • Its a computer with a gorgeous screen.

Beat screen around at the size. I do arty kinda stuff so I'm bumping into the cpu and memory lack, but it does do what I need. Its not the fastest, and its not the best, but its just fine. I'd never pay the original price, that was just stupid, but this is quite good.

  • Perfect Match

I'm a college student and illustrator, I can say that I love this tablet laptop(so far). Its has a few hiccups but, I fix most of them. Some hiccups are the eraser button sometimes doesn't work and some websites can freeze the surface and snap features is a little weird. Some ways that I fix these problem is that with the pen to use the eraser button you have turn on your blue tooth.Instead of using the websites for on your surface use the apps in the Microsoft store instead or try to see if there's a new update for your surface. And, with little work you get the snap feature to work on your websites or just use the desktop mode. These hiccups are super small and can be fix but, one that can't be fix is its ONE USB port, You can buy an USB extensions but, come on. I used to own a envy laptop it great but, that was super heavy and to big travel around and set places. The surface has everything I loved in envy laptop but, compact size with even more features. So I can overlook its biggest flaw.As for buy this pre owned, it look brand new. I love my lil surface and I'm going to keep using it for years and years.

  • Great little machine

Very handy little computer/tablet. I bought it because it's not Apple, but wish that it had the ability to connect to cellular data. Almost bought the ipad because of that feature, and would have gotten 5 stars if it did. Other than that, who needs anything more?

  • Overwhelmingly positive

Opening this up you wouldn't even realize this is a refurb, other than the sticker. Not a scratch or dent on it anywhere. System is fast and responsive and handles my cad work well. I'm so impressed with how well the pen works after using other touch screen devices that just didn't cut it for note taking.
