For urgent foster or adoption Kaya is our beautiful 4 year old Staffy girl She was found as a stray and taken into the pound where she stayed for her contractual 7 days but her owners never came to collect her She was saved from being euthanised by the wonderful ladies at Hound from the Pound who placed her in boarding kennels before finding a rescue space with us at Lucky Paws. Kaya is a real sweetheart, she absolutely adores people and getting tummy rubs, is fully house-trained, knows the basic commands and walks lovely on the lead Unfortunately Kaya is dog reactive and after an assessment with a behaviourist it has been decided that she needs to be an only pet. New home needed for our Bichons Sid and Nancy. Must go together. Both very loving but Sid can be quite nervous and snappy due to being a rescue. Nancy is very loving and friendly and loves her food. Ben came to us from a home where he had been left outside locked in a pen, being bullied by the other dogs, he had never been given the opportunity to get any exercise and as a result his hind legs had become extremely weak causing him to continuously fall so his owners had decided to have him euthanised ?? Luckily Ben was saved and is now in foster with Chloe where we discovered he has a severe case of Gingivitis and needs to have his canine teeth removed along with some other dental work, which he has an appointment in place for. Ben has been given daily walks so has been gradually regaining the strength in his legs, his confidence has grown massively and he has shown himself to be the sweetest little boy who loves to run around and play with his doggy friends almost as much as he loves to sit with his humans and snuggle with his teddy bear ??
