I currently have a number of ouessant sheep, and am looking to downsize my flock. I have a number of weathers, ewes, tegs and proven Rams. They are very low maintanance as far as sheep go, are very hardy, and I have never had any problems with them in the 4 years I have been keeping them. Excellent mothers, and lovely charming characters. Very endearing and will be sorely missed, but I just do not have the time to look after this many. I am open to any sensible offers on them, whether it be just one or a number you are wanting. I am also open to offering discount for purchase of groups of animals. Read More

Ouessant sheep for sale

We currently have 3 Ouessant sheep for sale. These very friendly, miniature sheep (17 inches tall fully grown), are full of character and inquisitive and not like normal sheep! They are great as mini lawn mowers or pets, are extremely easy to look after and are good with children. We are looking for good homes for: (wether - castrated ram lamb) born 14th May . Black, curious but a little shy. Very gentle boy (£80) (ewe lamb) born 22 April . Black, a little reserved and independent but very sweet (£300)((() (mother of ewe lamb) born April . A lovely mother (has had 2 lambs - lamb for sale and one last year) and a real character. Very cheeky grin and quite confident (£300) Would prefer to sell ewes as a ewe with lamb at foot for £500. All of the sheep have been vaccinated and faecal egg counted (and are clear) The ewes are registered with the Ouessant Sheep Society and the wether has recorded status (wethers are not registered). Because they are so easy to look after, these little guys are great for grazing paddocks, maintaining the grass in orchards (where mowing can be difficult) or cross grazing if you have horses.
