I acquired this HAND MADE CG tenor mouthpiece at Roberto's NYC. I don't think they are available anywhere else in the USA. It has power, core and color with a medium dark sound. It can be pushed as hard as you want and the sound never breaks up. It solos with total authority and blends great in a section. This is a hand finished mouthpiece made in very limited numbers.   Unaltered condition. Tip and Rails are mint. ) tip opening.   This is a great find at a fraction of Roberto's $920 price tag. For sale a wonderful Otto Link Super Tone Master “Florida U.S.A.“ #7* tenor saxophone mouthpiece The tip was an original *), opened up to #") by Brian Powell. *link removed* Signed «BP.105"» This is a typical little treasure from the 60’s. … the timeless hard bop sound of the Blue Note records. This “Florida U.S.A.” comes from a “Florida No U.S.A.” blank so… shorter body, longer shank and a tiny bit higher beak than the later “Florida U.S.A.” pieces. The mouthpiece has been reworked/refaced by Brian Powell… and the tip opening (and the facing) are now setted at * This is a medium—>medium to bright Florida mouthpiece: punchy but not bright at all. Strong singing nasal quality in the sound. The facing had the typical magic of Brian Powell’s works: medium positive resistance…. reed friendly.
