I am reluctantly having to rehome my cuckoo orpington cockerel as he was bought as and until about a month and a half a go was as far as I could tell a hen. Unfortunately I only have space for one run and I already have another cockerel. Currently both cockerels are living together without problems but I'm going on the basis it wont last and pre-emptively rehoming the new one. Hes a lovely bird so I would like him to go to a good home where he can live with other chickens rather than end up in the pot so I am giving him away on the basis the person who takes him has girls for him to live with or wants him as a pet. I can deliver in the York area or slightly further afield for cost of fuel. Read More

I am selling 3 of my lovely Pekins. All hatched early this year. In the trio are a lovely tame white cockerel, white hen and stunning black hen. I am selling these 3 together as they are very close group. They stay together while pottering around my garden and all sleep cuddled up in one corner. All 3 birds are not related and very tame A white cockerel is very good when breeding Pekins as the chicks colouring from the hen. Therefore you can hatch different coloured chicks from one cockerel. I am selling these cheap for a quick sale and not cause there are any issues with the birds.

This is Sydney - a cross between a buff orpington and I think a black tailed buff Old English or Japanese bantam (hard to tell from photos on the web!). A handsome & caring fellow indeed he would make a lovely cockerel as he is very attentive. He is used to free ranging but kept in at the moment re the DEFRA avian flu guidelines.
