Original Thonet bentwood chairs set of 6, This set of chairs has been sat on for many many years in the same household. Five are stamped with the same Thonet mark, and one has a paper label of a more complicated design also written Thonet.The chairs are basically in very good condition, have tried to photograph defects. The cane seating varies a bit; 2 have been recently recaned quite recently, 2 are OK, 2 could do with redoing (sort of sagging in the middle). There are some round cushions - originally in a brown William Morris design, but now just terracotta colour cotton).I am not sure if they were all aquired at the same time, or how long ago, but they are old and original.There are no added braces to the back.
