Here for sale we have a beautiful Clock Garniture. It is of Early 20th Century Antique English Edwardian Pottery form by A.G. Harley Jones of Royal Vienna Art Pottery, Fenton, Staffordshire, {}. Each piece is highly decorated by transfer prints by the popular artist of the time of Angelica Kauffman whose name can be seen clearly on the clock artwork. It is fairly rare today to find a complete set like this, which includes the plinth for the clock. The base of each piece fully marked with the printed gilt Maker's Mark of the period, viz: - A Lion Passant above a Crown within a Floral Wreath, with the word ENGLAND below, this together with the indistinct raised molded number, 951, possibly a pattern number. Height ~ cm. / inches ~ Width ~ cm. / 7.75 inches ~ Depth ~ cm. / 6.00 inches ~ Year ~ circa . Exquisite, one-off, hand painted antique Chinese cabinet, in very good condition. Likely from 19th century - certainly not a modern imitation! This was a gift to my family from another family member but it no longer fits in our house, which is why I'm selling. It has two main doors, three main base drawers, 3 inner drawers. All drawers and doors have original metal handles and the original metal 'closing latch'. It is made of painted wood, with 4 painted main scenes. A carved wooden wall clock painted in gold with a bow on top, glass front case that opens from left, openwork brass arms in scrolls with brass pendulum and a key. These clocks were renowned for their abundance of rococo swirls and arabesques. They are spring driven, requiring winding every week. The pendulum is also gilded and sits within the body.
