Desk was bought direct from the local cheese monger (la Fermette) on rue Montorgeuil when the school was replacing all desk. Lovely old French double child's school desk

We have a lovely old French school desk for sale, bought from a French 'Manoir' house. Available when we return from France next week. Oak slatted bench and desk on metal legs. Two storage shelves underneath, inkwell holes. Lovely patina, some marks, scribbles and stickers as you would expect with age and kids but nothing too serious and could easily be sanded back to a clean finish. Sturdy solid item. For sale is this very cool genuine vintage old school desk. It's a lovely solid characterful piece - totally original I've just given it a light sand and fresh coat of wax making it clean but keeping its rustic charm. Dimensions are Width 62 Height 70 Depth 45 all cms. () All of my items are genuine vintage or antique. Items of this age come with obvious age related knocks, bumps and scratches etc. In my opinion this only adds to the their originality and style.
