Lovely Queen Elizabeth II commemorative cake tin. Metal tin in a beautiful royal blue colour with gold trim and detailing to the edges. To the lid of the tin there is a sepia coloured image of the Queen. Has a really gorgeous vintage look to it. Tin has been used and does show some minor signs of age & wear. There are a couple of small dents to the tin, along with some small scuff marks and scratches. There is no significant damage and item is in perfectly useable condition. Could be used for its intended purpose but would make a great sewing kit box or similar. With a design that improved upon that of the Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth was a slightly larger ship, the largest passenger liner ever built at that time and for fifty-six years thereafter. She also has the distinction of being the largest ever riveted ship by Gross Tonnage.
